One thing that sets us apart in the travel world is that including our day trips, we generally have about 1 group trip per month. These trips are always guided by one or more of our excellent staff members, and below we are detailing this year’s trip to Secrets Vallarta Bay in beautiful Puerto Vallarta Mexico. So let’s find out what trip leader Connie had to say about her group trip to Mexico.
“This year’s Secret’s Vallarta adults only trip was from March 4 – 11, 2017 with Norwegian Air. There are nice budget airline for charters from Milwaukee, for anyone interested in making this trip on their own. This resort is in town and a short cab ride to the boardwalk. Although you truly don’t need to leave the resort we did go into town for a meal. The food at the resort was good and my favorite places were the French and Italian restaurants. You can go to the Now Amber too (this resort is for families) as part of your stay with Secrets Vallarta Bay. Most of the rooms do have an amazing view of ocean, you can see from the photo above that the view is mostly unobstructed. They do have a preferred club that has a bar and snacks out for the guest staying in that section. The bars have a good selection of liquors. One of my favorite things to do was watching the sunsets from the resort, they were amazing! The rooms do have the open bathroom concept, but also have a curtain that you can pull for privacy. I love going on excursions when I travel. We did the whale watching tour and saw a ton of whales. I know people get nervous that they won’t actually see whales on the excursion but we saw many. This excursion also had drinks and a meal included while we were out. For more information on the excursion please see the link provided. Another excursion we did was the Rhythm of the night tour. Everyone that took part in this one enjoyed it very much. I have also provided a link if you want more details on this excursion as well.”
