Last week I asked which city has the highest Ferris wheel in the world. If you answered Las Vegas then you would be correct. The High Roller is 550 feet tall and was officially completed in 2014. It beats out its nearest competitor the Singapore Flyer in Marina Centre, Downtown Core Singapore which comes in at 541 feet tall. To take a ride on this sky-high wheel you will need to shell out $26.95 during the day and $36.95 at night per person. And although this may seem like a lot for one ride, don’t worry this is no carnival Ferris wheel. You will get to enjoy your loop for just around 30 minutes. Make sure to add this to your itinerary the next time you are in Vegas.

This is also an option for families that visit Vegas. Many people see Las Vegas as a purely adults playground, which it definitely can be. But there are so many things to do in Vegas that don’t revolve around gambling and drinking, that it can make for a great family affair as well. Other options involve shows, shopping, tours of the Hoover Dam or Grand Canyon as well as pool time fun.
