Where in the World Wednesday

koningsdam.jpegHolland America is rolling out a new ship coming March 2016. The Konigsdam is the 1st of the Pinnacle class and largest in its fleet. Holding 2650 passengers, this Dutch dream has focused its attention on culinary touches. With new restaurants, dutch inspired treats as well as cooking demonstrations and classes, this family friendly vessel is sure to shake up the competition.

Much attention has been placed on the culinary arts. French seafood restaurant Sel De Mer will make your tastebuds dance as you taste some of the freshest seafood you could ever imagine. Want to become a chef yourself for the day? Look no further. Dinner at the Culinary Arts gives patrons a chance to view cooking demonstrations, take classes as well as enjoy farm to table dinners. Maybe you are looking for something smaller? Check out the Lido Market and Grand Dutch cafe. Here you can get made to order food as well as dutch themed snacks and beverages.

Along with its vast array of dining options Konigsdam is providing much in the way of musical entertainment, new family ocean view cabins as well as 2 swimming pools. With its itineraries located in the Western Caribbean as well as Scandinavia and Northern Europe this is going to be one ship you don’t want to miss.

Although I have never cruised on an ocean liner before this cruise ship sounds like a dream. I love European inspired flair and with its option for Dutch treats and French seafood cuisine I’m in. Great for both families, with its new Ocean view family rooms holding up to 5 passengers and providing 2 bathrooms, this brings relaxation to a whole new level.
