When planning a trip of a lifetime we often don’t even think about all the little moments that come together to make it one of the best trips we’ve ever taken. For many people visiting Australia is a lifelong dream. Australian adventures can be different for everyone that goes, I mean it’s an entire continent for pete’s sake. But for our Travel Consultant Connie the memory that most stood out to her was one I am sure will now be popping up on everyone’s bucket list.

“One of my best memories was climbing the Sydney Bridge. The view was

amazing and the experience was never to be forgotten. We did the twilight

climb so we got a photo of the Opera House in the background and when we

came back down we had the city skyline at night in the background. The

thrill of being at the top of the bridge was some I will never forget.”

How amazing would it be to not only get the thrill of climbing a bridge at twilight, but to drink it all in with the experience of seeing some of the most recognizable landmarks in the world. Although I can only imagine this experience, the way I picture it is completely breath taking. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but the one in my head is saying way more than that. The German’s have a word for the physical longing to travel Fernweh, which literally translates into an ache for travel. It is descriptions like this that give me the feeling of Fernweh in the most intense way.
